I just finished the RAW conversions from this past weekend’s wedding and I’m starting to find myself breathing a bit. Actually, I think I’m only fooling myself as I know I still have a lot of work to get done before heading out next week.

I’ve got the new skin here on the Travel Uncommon site (not yet customized) and I’m working hard to get the basics up for Photo Uncommon on-time for the October 4th launch. It’s going to be a “soft-launch” because I’m still working out future plans, but, it’ll be up sometime on the 4th with a brief overview of what Photo Uncommon is being set up to do.

At this point I’m working to get the sites “road-ready” so I don’t have to bother with any design work while I’m away from the main studio. I will, however, be updating as often as possible to share what I’m up to througout the trip. My 4 year old Apple Powerbook G4 will be my main connection to the world and I’m feeling confident that it’s up to the task. It’s a bit slow to do RAW processing with, but, it’ll do nicely!
