Since most of my shooting takes place on-location and since more & more of it is happening further from my home area I wanted to have a place where I could check in to post in a more informal manner.
This site / blog should become more active once I head out to Portland, Oregon in February to shoot the Portland Cello Project project. I have an increasing number of documentary & commercial shoots that will see me in Portland, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Honolulu and New York in addition to shoots closer to home in Chicago & the Quad Cities.
I am thankful for the opportunities that are made possible by all of my clients! While my most recent experience with air travel has left me a bit soured to the idea I am quickly “getting over it” in anticipation of what’s on the schedule for 2008. When I am traveling I will work to update the blog as often as possible.

I’m getting ready to head out to visit with my friends in Indianapolis! We’ll be doing some shooting, learning and having fun doing it! If I shoot anything interesting I’ll be sure to post it online here.

After a 29 hour layover in Lihue I am home.
If I were to share the details right now I’m afraid that it would be a rant as opposed to a review. I, however, would like to take this opportunity to thank the part-time airline (in Lihue) US Airways for putting me up in fine […]

A last-minute opportunity came up and I have been enjoying some time in the Aloha State! It is good to be back home if only for a brief visit. More soon! Happy New Year!

Perhaps one of these days I’ll take on a project specifically geared toward telling a story about an aspect of December 7, 1941. In a world where September 11, 2001 seems to be losing some of it’s impact I think it is important to remember the original day of infamy. One event is […]

It took close to 13 hours but it was a good drive to Denver, Colorado where I am spending Thanksgiving with family & friends! There was a good snow here last night that has left the area, including the Rockies, covered in white adding a proper accent to what I consider the real kick-off […]

I just got back in town from Indianapolis where I hooked up with Kevin Swan and the rest of the group at Janet Payne’s studio! I wasn’t scheduled to make a return visit unti December but I really enjoy the vibe this group has! As a bonus I always come away having learned […]

I was in the city for 10 days and had two very different experiences:
1. As a representative of Pictage working the booth at the Photo Plus Expo in Manhattan.
2. As a freelance photographer working with VII Photo Agency to create a photo documentary in Brooklyn.
I am planning to summarize both legs of my […]

I am finally starting to get into the images I shot during the Fall Tour. One of the places I stopped at for the first time is Washington, DC.
I am working on a presentation and hope to have it posted soon-ish.

Updating the blog has proven to be difficult as I travel!
I spent four days out of wi-fi range which, now that I think of it, really wasn’t all that bad!
After a stop in DC I am in NYC where I will be attending the PhotoPlus Expo. I hope to post some images from the […]
